Jeffrey M. Ramsdell served as King County Superior Court Judge in Seattle, Washington, from 1996 through 2018.  He was Chief Criminal Judge from 2001 to 2004, Chief Judge of the Regional Justice Center from 2005 to 2006, and a member of Superior Court’s Bench-Bar-Press Committee beginning in 1999.

From 1997 to 2000 Judge Ramsdell served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Superior Court Judges’ Association of the State of Washington.  In 2013 he was elected President of the Association.

Judge Ramsdell received his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Toledo where he was a member of the Law Review and the Order of the Coif.

Judge Ramsdell plays guitar, and enjoys music and motor sports.
