Jeffrey M. Ramsdell has served as King County Superior Court Judge in Seattle, Washington, since his election to the position in 1996. He served as Chief Criminal Judge of King County from 2001 to 2004, Chief Judge of the Regional Justice Center from 2005 to 2006, and as a member of the Court’s Bench-Bar-Press Committee since 1999.
From 1997 to 2000 Judge Ramsdell served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Superior Court Judges’ Association of the State of Washington. In 2013 he was elected to serve as the President of that Association.
Judge Ramsdell received his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Toledo where he was a member of the Law Review and the Order of the Coif.
Judge Ramsdell plays guitar, and enjoys music and motor sports.
